Salary cap set to remain unchanged
NRL: In a win for the players, ARLC Chairman Peter V’landys has revealed next year’s salary cap is set to remain unchanged.
“The big story to come out of this (Andrew McCullough’s departure) is that while Brisbane have been training on the main field at Red Hill over at the old field where the Broncos have always trained Ben Te’o has been training with some Broncos trainers,” Dobbin told Triple M.
“The rugby union player has been training for the last three weeks on his own.
“I saw him a couple of weeks ago and he said I am still contracted to the Sunwolves. Well the Sunwolves are folding because of Super Rugby.

“He’s exactly what they need,” Geyer said.
“That is an astute signing for McCullough at the Knights and Te'o’ at the Broncos. That is a win, win for both clubs because now you put Lodge, Haas, Carrigan, Flegler, Fifita, Pangai Jr, Ofahengaue and skipper Alex Glenn. It is almost an All Star pack.”
