Week 9 Fantasy Rankings: TE
NFL

I don’t want to speak too soon here, but it seems that the tight end position has made a recovery. After seeing numerous top players injured at the start of the season and a lack of impact from other perceived top streaming options, our Week 9 fantasy TE rankings finally look strong. With as many as 11 legitimate starting TEs and a number of solid sleepers available, start ’em, sit ’em decisions at the position won’t be nearly as hard as they were in weeks past.

It also helps that some of the younger stars are starting to emerge. O.J. Howard and David Njoku both have performed well in recent weeks (though Njoku’s goose egg last week was frustrating) and they are now top-10 staples, especially in favorable matchups like this week. Those two both find themselves in our top six for Week 9, and as long as they get targets and red-zone opportunities, they should be in good position to put up solid numbers.

Week 9 Rankings:
Quarterback | Running Back | Wide Receiver | D/ST | Kicker

In terms of streamers this week, we like Jeff Heuerman in a matchup with a hapless Chiefs defense, and guys like Vance McDonald (@ Ravens) and Austin Hooper (@ Redskins) will always garner consideration because of their TD potential.

Note: We will update these rankings and add analysis during the week, so check back often.
