WATCH: Clemson DL Christian Wilkins scores touchdown as RB
NFL

Clemson defensive lineman Christian Wilkins stepped into a slightly different role Saturday for a play in the second quarter against Florida State — and he certainly delivered.

Wilkins, who is known for taking down ballcarriers, stepped in as running back and walked away with a touchdown.

Clemson was facing a third-and-goal at the Florida State 1-yard line. The Tigers got creative and put 315-pound Wilkins in the backfield in an I-formation. He powered his way past defenders and into the end zone to give Clemson a 21-0 lead.
