Melvin Gordon’s absence was short-lived.
The Chargers running back is expected to return Sunday against the Seahawks after sitting out the team’s Week 7 win over the Titans in London with a hamstring injury, ESPN reported, citing an unidentified source.
Melvin, who is officially listed as questionable, has had two full weeks to recover after missing Week 7 and resting during the team’s Week 8 bye. He was a full participant in practice on Friday after being limited Wednesday and Thursday.
Chargers RB Melvin Gordon likely to be a game-time decision, report says
Gordon, 25, previously ranked third in the NFL with 466 rushing yards to go with his six touchdowns but has since dropped to No. 12.
The Seahawks (4-3) are slated to host the Chargers (5-2) at 4:05 p.m. ET.
