Derek Anderson (concussion) ruled out; Nathan Peterman will start at QB for Bills

Nathan Peterman will be under center for the Bills on Sunday when Buffalo hosts the Bears.

The Bills made the announcement Saturday after Derek Anderson was ruled out with a concussion.

Injury update: QB Derek Anderson and LB Tremaine Edmunds have been both downgraded to OUT for Sunday’s game vs. Chicago. #CHIvsBUF

Rookie quarterback Josh Allen remains out with an elbow injury, resulting in Peterman getting the fourth start of his NFL career.

Peterman, a 2017 first-round pick out of Pittsburgh, has thrown one touchdown and four interceptions while completing 40.6 percent of his passes this season.
