All-action Lamar Jackson runs the show as Baltimore Ravens claim playoff win in titanic grudge match with Tennessee Titans
- Lamar Jackson won his first playoff game as Baltimore beat Tennessee 20-13
- The Baltimore Ravens came back from a 10-point deficit in the wild card round
- Jackson’s electric 48-yard touchdown scramble sparked Baltimore into life
Lamar Jackson won his first playoff game and Derrick Henry was bottled up as Baltimore Ravens beat bitter rivals Tennessee Titans 20-13.
The reigning MVP was 0-2 in the postseason but rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown as the Ravens came back from a 10-point deficit in the wild card round.
The key was the stifling of Titans star running back Henry — who rushed for 2,027 yards in the regular season — but mustered just 40 yards off 18 carries. ‘It feels good, I’m happy that we got it done,’ said Jackson.

‘They’ve beat us two times. We finished finally. We finally finished.’ In front of 14,029 fans in Nashville, Jackson, 24, was intercepted as Tennessee stormed into a 10-point first quarter lead.
But Jackson’s electric 48-yard touchdown scramble sparked Baltimore into life, with the scores tied at half-time. Baltimore made it 17 unanswered points after JK Dobbins’ touchdown in the third. After trading field goals, Ravens cornerback Marcus Peters’ intercepted Ryan Tannehill and then led his team-mates to stamp on the Titans logo in midfield in celebration.
The teams do not like each other. The Titans won at the No 1 seed Ravens in last year’s Divisional Round.

In November, Tennessee stomped on the Ravens’ logo in Baltimore before kick-off and won again courtesy of Henry’s 133 yards rushing.
Elsewhere, the AFC No 2 seed Buffalo Bills won their first playoff game in 25 years with a thrilling 27-24 home victory over Indianapolis Colts.
In the NFC, LA Rams advanced with a 30-20 win over Seattle Seahawks and Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat Washington Football Team 31-23.
