Seattle Seahawks star Russell Wilson is a cut above Aaron Rodgers.
That’s according to NFL expert Colin Cowherd who’s taken a thinly veiled dig at the Green Bay Packers quarterback.
Wilson will be in action against the Minnesota Vikings tonight.
The 31-year-old has put in some virtuoso performances this season and looked an MVP contender at one point.
That now seems unlikely given Lamar Jackson’s stunning form.
However, the Wisconsin graduate is still hugely respected by players and pundits alike.

Aaron Rodgers told he’s better than Russell Wilson and Tom Brady by NFL rivals
Rodgers, meanwhile, was imperious on Sunday and threw four touchdown passes against the beleaguered New York Giants.
But speaking before that game, Cowherd was quick to twist the knife.
“I think he wildly talented, but I prefer Russell Wilson over Aaron Rodgers,” he said.
“Clearly I’m in the minority but this year more than ever is a great example.
“Russell Wilson goes on the road [against the Eagles], the weather is awful and he’s sacked six times.
“He’s under siege all day – four drops.
“On the road, Jadeveon Clowney, best man on the roster, maybe defensively did not play.
“He’s got a new receiver in Josh Gordon, he’s got young wide receivers – and he finds a way to win.
“Six straight years – seven after this year. He’ll have been sacked 40 or more times.
“Never had a losing season, never made an excuse, never thrown a team-mate under the bus.
“We never hear about it, no eye rolling, he just finds a way to win.
“He’s never hurt and he’s been to more Super Bowls. He never gets blown out – you never see him get blown out.
“He keeps you in games. Rodgers this year has got better weapons and a better offensive line.”
