Russell Westbrook unleashes huge dunk and 'Shammgod' crossover in Oklahoma City Thunder win

Russell Westbrook displayed with power and touch on two drives to the hoop in the Oklahoma City Thunder’s win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Westbrook finished just shy of a triple-double with 29 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists as the Thunder recorded a 111-107 road win in Charlotte.

The former MVP’s best moments came in the form of two very different scoring drives at the Hornets’ basket.

With 3:34 remaining in the first quarter, Westbrook blew by two Hornets defenders at the top of the three-point arc and accelerated into the paint before unleashing a devastating two-handed dunk.

An even more impressive move followed in the fourth quarter as Westbrook drifted into the lane before executing the ‘Shammgod’, the crossover dribble popularised by 90s star God Shammgod (now an assistant coach for the Dallas Mavericks), before deftly laying the ball home.
