Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray bounce back to beat Clippers in Game 2 and even series 1-1

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — So much for this being a lopsided series.

The Denver Nuggets finished off a 110-101 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals, tying the series at 1-1.

Guard Jamal Murray scored 27 points on 10-of-21 shooting with six assists for the Nuggets, while center Nikola Jokic had 26 points on 10-of-17 shooting and 18 rebounds. This marked a stark improvement for the Nuggets stars after finishing their Game 1 loss shooting a combined 11-of-29 clip. 

The Clippers shot only 40.9% from the field and 28.1% from 3-point range. Paul George had 22 points on 7-of-19 shooting and 4-of-10 from 3-point range. Kawhi Leonard was limited to 13 points on 4-of-17 shooting.

Game 3 is on Monday night (9 p.m. ET, TNT).
