Patrick McCaw is still a free agent. But, there appears to be multiple teams interested in him.
The 22-year-old guard has missed the first 11 games of the season as he is a restricted free agent and has yet to sign a contract with Golden State. But, McCaw “remains in discussions with several” teams, including the Warriors, according to a report from The Athletic, which cites an unidentified league source.
The report does not say which teams McCaw is currently speaking with.
McCaw did not accept Golden State’s $1.7 million qualifying offer and also reportedly rejected a two-year, $5 million contract from the team.
The guard averaged four points and 1.4 assists for Golden State last season. He shot 40.9 percent from the field and just 23.8 percent from 3-point range.
