Zion Williamson’s power has always been evident on the basketball court. But on the golf course the 6-foot-7, 285-pounder was a lot more force than finesse.
The insanely powerful teenager attempted to put his otherworldly talents to use in a different sport, but it didn’t end well.
A team outing turned into plenty of laughs when Williamson attempted to drive a ball right down the fairway only to snap the club.
“He literally broke the club!”

The hilarious clip quickly did the rounds with Wilson Golf reaching out to the number one pick.
“Let’s get you some sticks that hold up,” the company tweeted.
The New Orleans Pelicans held the golf outing for sponsors and season ticket holders, and some players predictably had better games than others.
Frank Jackson reportedly looked pretty good, rookie Jaxson Hayes less so. But as he usually does, the 2018 top overall draft pick stole the show.
Williamson — clad in a red Nike Pelicans polo shirt and black shorts — was the main talking point thanks to his feats of strength.
But the team at NBA on TNT decided to have some fun with it and linked the superstar rookie to hall of famer Charles Barkley who has one of the ugliest golf swings you’re ever likely to see.

The video of Williamson though left his teammates and those in attendance in stitches.
He looks at the club quizzically, touches the severed end with his right hand, and sheepishly walks back with a bemused smile to get another one.
“Good God, look at that,” Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry said, examining the shattered club. “He literally broke the club.”
The video shows Williamson going back to get another club. The fate of the second club is unknown.
