Buffalo were kicking off having just scored a touchdown to go 23-7 ahead at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium when Grant caught the ball one yard inside his own end zone.

With opposition players closing him down rapidly, the 27-year-old wide receiver turned on the afterburners and headed laterally across the 10 yard line to find some space.

From there he cut left and found a running lane, capitalising on some blocks form his Dolphins team-mates to beat a multitude of Bills players' attempted tackles.

Grant evaded one final tackle on the halfway line and glided to the house, sending the long-suffering Miami fans wild and making the score 23-14 after a successful extra point was kicked.

He traveled a total of 138 yards on his return TD, the most total yards run on a play by a ballcarrier this season per Next Gen Stats.

Grant now has four career kick/punt return touchdowns, most in Dolphins NFL history.

He's also the only player in Dolphins history with multiple kickoff and punt return touchdowns in his career, with two of each.

The Texas-born star signed a four-year extension in August with his returning prowess playing a notable role in the new deal.

This was his first return touchdown of the season and it came at a crucial moment for Miami.

Coach Brian Flores had earlier called onside kick which was successfully recovered to retain possession.

Despite losing their first seven games of the season, the Florida franchise have triumphed in their last two games.

And it seems that fans of the side famously went unbeaten in 1972 have found some faith which was previously lacking.
