Jerry Jones told to fire Dak Prescott after QB equals unwanted record for Dallas
NBA

Dallas Cowboys fans want owner Jerry Jones to fire Dak Prescott after the quarterback threw two interceptions in the first-half against the Buffalo Bills.

‘America’s Team’ were hosting their annual Thanksgiving Day game in Dallas, this time again the 8-3 Bills.

And the evening started well for Prescott as he engineered a touchdown on the Cowboys’ opening drive of the game.

The Bills, though, scored the next two touchdowns to lead 13-7 at half-time in a game that the Cowboys simply have to win.

And the Cowboys were booed off their own field after Brett Maher missed a 35-yard field goal wide left on the final play of the half.

Prescott has been in the conversation for NFL MVP this season but has now fallen behind the likes of Russell Wilson and Lamar Jackson in the pecking order.

And his first-half on Thanksgiving will not have done him any favours at all.

In fact, some fans have called for Cowboys owner Jones to give the QB the shove instead of offering him a new mega-bucks contract.

Prescott is in the final year of his current deal at the AT&T Stadium and the Cowboys will have to pay him big if they want to keep him.

One fan wrote on social media: “Dak Prescott isn’t worth $35 million. He wants that with his performance? Prescott demonstrated on the biggest stage of all why Jerry Jones hasn’t paid him.

While another said: “Dak strikes again. Another mediocre performance in the works. Jerry Jones really needs to reconsider giving Prescott a long term extension.

“Dak Prescott is a garbage qb him and Jerry Jones should be locked out tomorrow motioning. Fire Dak!” said another fan.

“I would rather Jerry fire him after this performance, not worth the money,” wrote another fan.

Indeed, the double turnover meant Prescott joined Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr for second most multi-turnovers in a game over the last three seasons.

The double again the Bills was his 13th multi-turnover game over that period of time.
