MLB wrap: Braves clinch division title for second straight season

Divisions are starting to be won about every other day at this point and one team wasn’t going to give up its title from last year.

The Braves used a 6-0 shutout against the Giants to take the top spot in the National League East for the second consecutive season.

Ronald Acuña Jr. led Atlanta with a perfect night at the plate. He was 2 for 2 with two RBIs and three runs scored.

Mike Foltynewicz did the bulk of the work on the mound. He pitched a solid eight innings where he allowed just three hits while striking out seven.
