The race for Bryce Harper appears to be down to three teams.
Philadelphia, the Dodgers and the Giants appear to be the final three teams in the running, according to Fancred Sports. Harper is expected to choose between them.
Phillies, #SFGiants and Dodgers all appear to remain strongly in Harper mix, and barring something unforeseen, it appears Harper will pick one of those 3 teams. Philly is in for 10 years, SF is too (via @PavlovicNBCS), LA is viewed as desirable locale tho term offered unknown.
It is unclear if the Dodgers now are offering a 10-year deal. They originally were reported to only be interested in a short-term option, but since they are reportedly in the running, it could mean they are offering a long-term package.
Can’t confirm. I’ve just been told all the serious bidders are talking at least 10 years. #SFGiants are serious bidders. #phillis are, and I presume #dodgers are too. https://t.co/mEt6SSUy0M
San Diego then appears to be out of the mix after signing Manny Machado to a 10-year deal worth $300 million. Several reports indicated the team was still interested in Harper after signing Machado, but that no longer seems to be the case.
Harper is reportedly still seeking a 10-year deal. Several teams wanted to give him a short-term contract, but he has not budged on his original number of years.
It was also reported Wednesday the Giants had a second meeting with Harper.

The six-time All-Star is reportedly looking for a deal higher than that of Machado and was rumored at one point to be asking for a $350 million to $360 million deal.
However, in recent days reports suggest Harper may settle for around $330 million. However, that remains to be seen.
