Of the 91 acceptors for the program, Weir has almost 13 per cent of the entries.

He has at least one runner in every race, with four in the 1300m maiden — Kragle, Midas Prince, Westham and Amon.

DUNMAM (Race 3, No. 10)

Possibly the pick of the Weir army after logging placings at Ballarat. Ran on strongly on debut and then just beaten from a wide draw last start. Perfectly suited by the jump to 1600m.

NEXT BEST

DON’T WAIT (Race 1, No. 2)

Prime for this after three positive trials, the latest last week when third at Cranbourne over 800m. Has good speed and should be suited by the small field here.

ZELSIGNORET (Race 8, No. 7)

Racing well. Not beaten far last time at Pakenham when hunted to the lead. Won previous start nicely when held up before running on strongly. Hard to beat.
