MANIKATO STAKES (Friday night): Kementari ($4.60-$4.40) is a narrow favourite over Sunlight ($4.80-$4.60) to take out Friday night’s feature sprint, with the pair easily the best supported runners heading into the event. Since Tuesday’s barrier draw they are responsible for over half of all bets on the race.

COX PLATE (Saturday): Winx ($1.25) has been very popular with customers keen to grab a slice of the current odds. One bet of $50,750 @ $1.25 has been taken on the champion mare, while another of $10,000 at the same quote was taken shortly after Tuesday’s barrier draw.

DRUMMOND GOLF VASE (Saturday): Aramayo ($4.20-$4) continues to head betting for the Vase but Thousand Guineas winner Amphitrite ($4.80-$4.60) has seen some support. The filly is the best tried outside the favourite and is a clear second pick ahead of Dealmaker ($5.50).

MELBOURNE CUP (November 6): Yucatan ($6) is the only runner in single figures for the race that stops the nation. The Team Williams horse is easily the best supported runner in the race, holding more than three times the amount of money than the next best backed runner, which is Avilius ($11). One of the latest bets to come in for Yucatan has been $3,000 @ $6.
