Pepperell will play topless if Spieth doesn't win the Masters

British golf star Eddie Pepperell says he will play a tournament TOPLESS if Jordan Spieth doesn’t win the Masters… despite picking up only his first victory in four years this week

  • Eddie Pepperell posted the bold claim on his Twitter account on Monday
  • Jordan Spieth has emerged as one of the favourites to win the Masters
  • He won the Texas Open on Sunday – his first event win for nearly four years

Eddie Pepperell has taken to Twitter to make a bold claim ahead of this week’s Masters, by saying that he will play topless on tour if Jordan Spieth doesn’t win the tournament.

And perhaps it’s easy to see why he’d be so confident of Spieth doing it, after he ended a 1,351-day wait for a victory, when he won the Valero Texas Open by two shots on Sunday.

After three-top five finishes in his last five events, Spieth finally ended the four-year hoodoo, making him one of the favourites for the Masters crown.

Pepperell has since added to his tweet, stating that he will do it on the Jamega Tour

It was his 12th PGA Tour victory, and his first since winning the British Open at ROyal Birkdale in 2017. That was his third major victory after winning the Masters and the US Open in 2015.

After posting the tweet, Pepperell went on to say that he’ll do it in the UK-based Jamega Tour – a developmental professional tour. Jamega’s Twitter account then responded with ‘Ready when you are!’.
