Ebanie Bridges has defended the growth of YouTube boxing and claimed porn star Elle Brooke has the dedication to turn professional in the future if she wanted to.
Since YouTuber KSI fought rival Joe Weller for the first time in 2018, there has been an explosion in the popularity of viral stars turning their hand to boxing. In particular, celebrity figures like the Paul brothers Logan and Jake have cashed in on the sport's popularity by picking fights with icons including Floyd Mayweather.
More recently, OnlyFans model and porn star Elle Brooke took on Love Island contestant AJ Bunker, where she outclassed the TV star in the ring after receiving coaching from IBF female bantamweight title champion Ebanie Bridges.

And, amid criticism of their alleged intrusion into the ring, the Australian bombshell defended the growing sport and emphasised her friend’s talent, despite accepting that it is an entirely different entity to professional boxing.
Speaking on The BoredMan podcast, she said: “My friend Elle Brooke, she just fought, and she’s a TikToker and on OnlyFans, but she’s not a boxer right?
“She came into the gym to have this fight, and I’m telling you right now, obviously at first I was like, f*** she’s everything I’ve been trying to prove I’m not; just a big f***ing gimmick, blonde, big t**s, whatever.
“When she came into the gym she was s***, she’d never thrown a punch before. But she was so determined, and so dedicated to her goal to get into that ring and fight in four months and do well, she was grafting like us, like world champions.”
Elle won her fight convincingly, and Bridges suggested that she had been so impressed with her pal’s transformation that she could even imagine her turning professional one day.
“I think if she wasn’t Elle Brooke, and she just was like a normal person, she could go into amateurs and she would do really well, and she could have a proper career, she’s only 24,” she suggested.
“But, because she’s Elle Brooke she can’t really do that, so her only option is really to do these YouTube fights and all these TikTok fights for now.
“But there might come a time when she’s had enough of them where she can actually going ‘okay I’m going to turn proper pro’ and maybe have some pro fights. She’s so disciplined and dedicated to it, and she’s actually doing really well.

“She’s a little novice, but these are just normal people, they’re novices, and people are giving them s*** saying they can’t box. I’m like, they’re not supposed to box yet… Because of the popularity of these guys, we’re seeing them at the beginning of their journey.”
Despite bigging up her mate during the podcast chat, Bridges has spent much of her time recently engaging in trash talk with her next opponent Shannon O’Connell ahead of their meeting in the ring later this year.
After O’Connell called her a “skanky stripper”, the 36 year-old called her rival “obsessed”, and claimed that she is trying to be like her after also getting breast implants.
