WWE RAW PREVIEW: Brock Lesnar return, Goldberg SummerSlam shocker, Roman Reigns update

Brock Lesnar return

Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is expected to appear on RAW a week after launching a savage assault on his SummerSlam challenger Seth Rollins.

Lesnar bludgeoned Rollins with a series of F5s against a ring post, unfolded chair and stretcher until his rival started coughing up blood.

The Beastslayer wrestled with his ribs all taped up under a lot of pain last week during a non-televised house show following the brutal attack.

However, it is not yet certain if The Kingslayer will appear tonight on RAW ahead of Sunday’s title match at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

Goldberg comeback

Reports suggest that Goldberg will be booked in a return match for SummerSlam against Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler has been insulting the WWE Hall of Famer as well as other legends the last few weeks on RAW and SmackDown.

The Showoff is scheduled to face The Miz this Sunday in Canada but this could turn out to be a red herring.

If Goldberg is indeed scheduled to compete at SummerSlam then the match could be announced tonight.

Roman Reigns update

Roman Reigns has been booked in an angle that saw him almost getting killed by falling scaffolding backstage on SmackDown last week.

WWE’s investigation determined that the near-catastrophe was an accident caused by forklift driver error and Reigns believes it.

However, the wrestling giants have been strongly hinting that it was all premeditated and the one responsible behind the attack could be revealed on RAW.

Rumours suggest Daniel Bryan may be unveiled as the culprit and that would set up a match between them at SummerSlam.

SummerSlam change

RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is set to defend her title against Natalya at SummerSlam in the challenger’s home country of Canada.

Lynch attacked The Queen of Harts last week before RAW as she put her in the Dis-Arm-Her submission move.

Natalya returned the favour when she locked in the Sharpshooter on The Man after she took on Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross.

The challenger hinted that she may turn the upcoming title bout in a Submission Match and the change may take place tonight on RAW.

24/7 Championship status

Maria Kanellis won the 24/7 Championship last week from her husband Mike Kanellis.

Maria has since been calling herself the first ever pregnant 24/7 Champion as she is expecting.

WWE’s newest title belt has been switched a lot ever since its inception last May.

However, there won’t be a new champion for a long time after last week’s events.
