West Ham expect to finalise the whirlwind £36million signing of Frankfurt’s Sebastien Haller in the coming days.
Sportsmail understands the Hammers only registered interest in Haller on Wednesday but talks rapidly progressed and the striker is ready to pen a four-year contract.
The 25-year-old’s representative Loic Gustan and Munich-based lawyer Christian Schmid led discussions and there is a confidence that West Ham’s search for a new front man has ended.
