PSG planning shock £100m Neymar replacement which could affect Christian Eriksen’s future

Zaha never got his wish to leave Crystal Palace during the Premier League window after handing in a transfer request.

Both Arsenal and Everton had expressed strong interest in the forward, but Palace weren’t willing to drop their asking price.

However, the Ivory Coast international may have a surprise opportunity to still leave Selhurst Park in the near future.

According to the Sunday Mirror, PSG are considering a £100million move for Zaha should Neymar leave the club this window.

The report goes on to suggest talks could already be progressing with the Ligue 1 champions sending a delegation to London to discuss a potential deal.

Should Barcelona complete a transfer for Neymar, the French champions will have a big pot of money available to them in order to try and replace the Brazilian.

And it is also suggested PSG would try and sign Paulo Dybala from Juventus as well as going after Zaha.

That could be bad news for Tottenham, who themselves were linked with a move for Dybala in the summer.

If Dybala is to leave Juventus, it is said the Serie A giants will look to replace the forward with Eriksen.

The Denmark international declared at the end of last season that he was considering leaving Tottenham for a new challenge.

Real Madrid seemed like the most likely destination, but the La Liga giants never came calling.

All this though will depend on Barcelona, or Real, completing a transfer for Neymar which is increasingly looking doubtful as the European transfer deadline draws near.

There has been speculation that PSG would consider loaning Neymar to Barcelona for a year with an obligation to buy the following summer.

So far, reports have stated PSG have turned down two offers from Barcelona.
