Liverpool star Mohamed Salah reached Jurgen Klopp agreement after BUST-UP

Liverpool star Salah supposedly clashed with manager Klopp earlier this season, at a time where the club were pushing hard to win both the Premier League and Champions League.

The Egypt international’s future is now up in the air amid claims that he is mulling over whether to leave Anfield this summer.

Salah helped Liverpool win the Champions League on Saturday night, scoring in a 2-0 victory over Tottenham in Madrid with Divock Origi also finding the net.

It seems unfathomable that the forward could call time on his Liverpool career given how important he is to the Reds’ side.

Recent reports have suggested, though, that Salah may leave after refusing to discuss his future.

Real Madrid have emerged as suitors for the 26-year-old despite Los Blancos already nearing a deal to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea.

And Diario AS, the same publication who claimed Salah could leave Liverpool for one of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or Manchester United, say the Egyptian agreed a truce with Klopp in the aftermath of their confrontation.

Klopp would no doubt be reluctant to see his star asset jump ship.

But AS say that Salah will sit down and evaluate his relationship with his manager this summer.

Meanwhile, former Liverpool star Graeme Souness fears Real Madrid and Barcelona could come calling for both Salah and Sadio Mane this transfer window.

“Real Madrid and Barcelona will be sniffing round Salah and Mane and I think one of them will be targeted this summer,” Souness told the Irish Independent.

“Both of those clubs are in the process of rebuilding and they tend to tempt any player when they go after them.

“Liverpool are a massive football club and they have proved they are back on top after reaching the Champions League final for two years in succession, but a lot of players find it hard to say no when Real Madrid and Barcelona go after you.

“We saw that in the past with Luiz Suarez and Philippe Coutinho and even though they enjoyed playing for Liverpool, their heads were turned when Barcelona wanted them.

“That will happen again now with Salah and Mane.”

Salah has been at Liverpool since 2017, helping the Reds reach two Champions League finals in that time.

He is contracted at the club until 2023 after signing a new contract last July.
