There is no offseason for James Harden.
The Rockets star has spent the summer training on perfecting his step-back 3-point shot, which has become his signature move. However, he’s trying to up the stakes this time by doing it on one leg.
“I’m always trying to be creative,” Harden told ESPN. “I’m always trying to get better – at basketball, life, businesswise. I’m always trying to find ways to be impactful. With basketball, you have to be creative. This is my 11th year, and every single year I want to get better. I don’t want to stay the same. You’ve got to find ways to keep growing.”
The move requires balance and more concentration than his regular step-back, but Harden indicated he is open to bringing the move out when the 2019-20 season starts.
